Coemar Infinity Wash XL lights
DESCRIPTION:
Sunrise, Florida (October 2nd, 2008) - They are the champions --- Coemar Infinity Wash XL lights truly are the lighting maestro's best friend, and give a killer performance every time. As the Queen + Paul Rogers Rock The Cosmos European Tour 2008 continues to unfold, the Infinity Wash XLs are straight shooters delivering rich, robust illumination for what lighting designer Baz Halpin calls a "good-old-fashioned rock 'n' roll lighting show."
Halpin had needed a fixture that had a powerful punch, great saturated colors and reliability. He chose to use 80 Infinity Wash XL lights to meet the challenge. "Movement speed and consistency in dimming and color was important," he explains, "as we used a lot of single color washes. When you have 80 lights on in the same color, one bad light spoils the look. The Infinitys gave me exactly what I needed."
Infinity Wash XL lights come complete with a CMY-S color mixing system with new saturation mode (patented), black out, full-range dimming, a completely electronic strobo zap and synchronized or random strobe effect. Moon Flower and Beam'o effects are also included.
Halpin remarks that on the Queen + Paul Rogers as well as other tours, Coemar Infinity Wash XL lights "are the workhorses of the rig. I tend to build the majority of my looks from the Infinitys and start to layer other fixtures over them," he says. "I find I never have to compromise on the look I am going for due to a failure in the fixture. I really like them a lot!"
