With her 2008 North American Tour in full gear, lighting designer Baz Halpin reflects that it is "at times a full-on rock concert to rival AC/DC, and at other times a heavy production show similar to that of any major pop performer."
Halpin needed a fixture that could cover subtle theatrical lighting with soft pastels and good intensity in dark saturated colors from a distance. "I knew from my experiences, lighting the Queen and Cher shows, that the 80 Infinitys we were set to use would be able to handle all my needs," he says. Halpin is using the fixtures as key, side and backlights in various situations.
